Simon's Place has been welcoming travellers, families, and sports teams to Tonga for years. It's small, it's personal, and the staff treat every guest like family — that's the whole point.
We're tucked away on Laifone Road, a quiet street just off the main stretch of Nuku'alofa — close enough to walk to the waterfront, the markets, and the town centre, but far enough from the busy roads that you can actually hear the birds in the garden.
Rooms are clean and simple. Beds are large and comfortable. Bathrooms are private and recently refreshed. And the garden — with its one very tall palm tree — is a lovely place to sit with a cup of tea between adventures.

Talamahu Market
The beating heart of the island — produce, tapa cloth, woven baskets, coconut oil, everything.
Mapu'a 'a Vaea Blowholes
A long stretch of coast where the sea shoots through volcanic rock. Best on a swelly day.
Anahulu Cave
A limestone cave with a clear freshwater pool you can swim in.
Humpback whale swims
